EC Bell, long time member of the Jackson, MS ABSW chapter transitioned suddenly on Friday night, October 27, 2017.  EC made tremendous and consistent contributions to NABSW on the local and national level for over 40 years, most recently as co-chair of NABSW's national Finance and International Education Conference Committees.
Honoring EC's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In following his directives, EC will be cremated this Wednesday, November 1, 2017. This will be a private, family ceremony.
Expressions of sympathy and condolences, including flowers, can be sent to Hilda Bell, EC's wife, and family at 2973 Angela Circle, Jackson, MS 39209.  If you choose to make a donation to NABSW in memory of EC, you can click on the donations tab on the homepage.  In the comment section, please indicate your donation is in memory of EC and feel free to leave an other statement to the family which will be passed on to them.

Please keep his family in prayer and they grieve his loss. We thank God for EC's life and the legacy he leaves.

Below is a message from EC's family:

Nothing can express our sadness on hearing about the transition of our colleague E.C Beell. He will be missed and celebrated by all who knew him and all who were blessed by his council. Arnette Avery Brewer Ohio Cleveland ABSW
